According to the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation No. 651 dated May 25, 1999 the Russian Federal Space Agency was transformed into the Russian Aviation and Space Agency (RAKA), the Federal State Unitary Enterprise AVIACOMPLEKT became part of the Russian Aviation and Space Agency (RAKA).
